The Good Food Guide has announced the top 20 'most exciting' restaurants in 2022 - and one is just a short drive from the city centre.
The guide, which is in its 70th year, provides diners with up to the minute, authoritative and independent guidance on the best places to eat across Britain. The Top 20 'most exciting' list was chosen by The Good Food Guide's independent, impartial inspectors, and includes restaurants from across Britain.
Number three on the list was Moor Hall in Aughton, just half an hour from Liverpool city centre. This year, the two Michelin star restaurant was also named the Best Restaurant in England at the National Restaurant Awards 2022.
