NEW DELHI: Several tennis stars have been outspoken about “loneliness” while playing on the ATP or WTA tour. Now, golfers are also speaking up – expressing their set of experiences and how they cope with pangs of loneliness and “self doubt” while on the tour.
Indian golfer Manu Gandas, who is currently second on the PGTI Rankings (Order of Merit), learnt it the hard way as he navigated through his maiden season last year on the DP World Tour. Along with Aman Raj, Gandas will be representing the country at the upcoming Hero Indian Open, scheduled to be held at the DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurugram from Mar 28-31.
