To be in Tiger Woods’ presence must be something else, whether you’re a professional golfer — even a superstar — or otherwise.
But when you’re Scottie Scheffler and you learn from Tiger himself (in a TaylorMade video, hat tip to GolfWeek!) that there was a reason why there weren’t any divots at the range they were hitting at.
“When I’m swinging well I don’t take divots,” Woods remarked.
“You always been like that or do you just practice it?” Scheffler replied, clearly floored.
“No. When I’m flushing it, I don’t take divots,” Woods said.
Uh, yeah I’d say that’s reason to be wowed by Woods in that moment. Golf fans agreed:
