Sunday’s final round of the British Open has had very little drama, thanks to Brian Harman’s steady play after entering the final day with a five-stroke lead. The lefty had that same lead through the first 11 holes and should be able to hang on to win his first major championship.
While there haven’t been many fireworks, there have been a ton of commercial breaks during NBC’s coverage, which has made the final round very hard to watch. It seems like we’ve seen more ads and “Playing Through” segments than actual live golf, which isn’t great.
This has been the case since the first round, and golf fans are once again furious at NBC for ruining one of golf’s best tournaments.

I know everyone says this already but I'll add to it. Commercials and golf are the worst. All I get to watch is 15 waggles from Harman and then NBC shows a 3 ft bogie putt. To commercial we go.
