The first 200 customers through the doors when a new Marks & Spencer Foodhall opens will receive a golden ticket with a guaranteed win. Early birds arriving at the new shop in Newark at 8am can win anything from a free bag of Percy Pigs or freshly-baked cookies from the new M&S bakery - with one lucky customer bagging a £200 M&S voucher.
Located at the Maltings Retail Park with free customer parking, the new store will open on Tuesday, March 29, just in time for the Easter Bunny to visit, with the shelves packed with goodies such as cheesy hot cross buns and chocolate eggs.
Store manager, Wes Kachela, will head up a 90-strong team at the Foodhall which will have a fresh-market feel with new fresh product displays brimming with fruit and veg, an in-store bakery serving bread and pastries, and a selection of cheeses. The store will offer added convenience with a mobile 'Scan & Shop' payment option via the M&S app which lets M&S Sparks customers skip the queues.
