Teachers first became aware of the situation after noticing students receiving gold items during the school day. The discovery immediately raised concern within the school administration, prompting staff to question the child about where the jewellery had come from.
The pupil reportedly told school officials that he had taken the pieces from his mother’s drawer at home.
