Golden Gloves VR is now available on the Meta Quest Store for $14.99, marking a big step forward for boxing and competitive gaming. It becomes the first officially sanctioned esports platform connected to USA Boxing and the Pan American Boxing Confederation, covering more than 30 countries across the Americas and creating a clear path from virtual competition to real world recognition.
Built for virtual reality, the platform blends proper boxing technique, conditioning and competitive play into one experience. Created with input from real fighters and coaches, it focuses on fundamentals like timing, defense, combinations, endurance and ring awareness, without the need for gym access, travel or physical contact.
Golden Gloves VR introduces a structured competitive pathway for both amateur boxers and esports players. Users can compete in official eUSA Boxing online tournaments, earn national rankings, purchase USA Boxing esports memberships and qualify for higher level events that include opportunities to travel and compete alongside traditional boxers. It marks the first time boxing’s governing bodies have formally recognized organized competition inside virtual reality.
The launch includes a full multiplayer tournament system designed to support multiple competitions running at the same time around the world. Instead of leaning toward a fitness or arcade style experience, the focus is on long term competition with rankings, officiating systems and a connected community.
Players can also train together inside a shared virtual boxing gym using equipment that mirrors real world physics, making workouts feel closer to actual gym sessions while keeping the social side of training intact. The experience features updated visuals, improved matchmaking and a detailed virtual recreation of Jake Paul’s personal boxing gym in Puerto Rico through a collaboration with Boxing Bullies, supporting youth empowerment through safe, no contact boxing training.
