Gold prices rose today (Tuesday, September 8, 2026) across leading jewellery brands such as Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kalyan Jewellers and Tanishq. The Indian Bullion & Jewellers Association (IBJA) also reported a rise in gold and silver prices today.

Gold outlook
Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd. (IBJA, said that gold and silver gained as the dollar weakened, with traders awaiting inflation data for clues on the Fed's next move.
“Gold remains range-bound as buyers and sellers stay evenly matched. Iran's threat of ‘economic warfare’ and claims of firing on US warships added a fresh geopolitical edge, days after both sides clashed. The CME FedWatch Tool shows a 60% chance of a rate hike next week, a factor that could pressure non-yielding gold. Markets now await tomorrow's PPI and CPI prints. Technically, gold is eyed between $4,300–$4,500, while silver faces key levels at $65 and $67,” says Kothari.
