Gold outlook
Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says, "Gold and silver ended a shaky week higher, with spot gold closing at $4,378 (up 0.67%) and silver gaining about 2.7%, even as the dollar index climbed 1.1% and the US 10-year yield neared 5%. The Fed's 25-basis-point hike to 3.75%–4.00% came with a hawkish dot plot, while oil, driven by Saudi pipeline disruptions in the Iran war, set the tone for metals. In India, a weaker rupee at 95.863 amplified domestic gains, though jewellery demand stayed soft ahead of Dussehra and Diwali. Technically, both metals hold a bullish bias: gold between $4,250 and $4,450, silver between $62.5 and $67.5."
