Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of IBJA says, “Gold and silver eased on Tuesday after scaling three-month highs, as markets turned their attention to upcoming U.S. inflation data and a key speech from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh. Persistent dollar debasement fears — fueled by the Fed's unclear inflation stance — continue to support bullion. Adding to the tension, Iran pledged retaliation against tightened U.S. sanctions, expressing confidence its trading partners won't buckle under pressure. Meanwhile, last week's rally was driven by the Treasury's move to double its bond buyback operations. Gold hit $4,696 (~Rs 164,700) and silver touched $69.96 (~Rs 248,800), with both metals now facing possible profit-booking.”
