Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of the IBJA says, “Gold climbed above $4400, a two-month high, as investment demand strengthened and China's central bank added roughly 20 tons to reserves in July — its largest monthly addition since October 2023. Iran and Oman are nearing a deal on new Strait of Hormuz shipping lanes, though Iran still wants US compensation and a sanctions rollback before reopening it fully. This week's US CPI and PPI data will shape Fed rate expectations following weak July jobs numbers. Technically, gold's break above $4200 points toward $4,500, while silver's move past $63 could open a path to $70-71.”
