Gogglebox stars and viewers were left emotional as they reacted to blind teenager Lucy playing the piano at Leeds Train Station.
The Channel 4 hit show is finally back on our screens as the stars shared their opinions on this week's trending shows and films.
During the first episode of the series they reacted to Claudia Winkleman’s new Channel 4 show The Piano, which features pop star Mika and concert pianist Lang Lang as judges.
The show involves pianists performing at train stations in front of crowds while the judges watch in a secret room, before selecting one pianist at the end of each episode to perform on stage.
The Gogglebox cast fought back tears as they watched 13-year-old Lucy play Chopin's Opus 9 Number 1 on the piano at Leeds train station. Lucy, from Halifax, was diagnosed with cancerous tumours of the eyes after she was born and has no vision. Her incredible skill on the piano was first discovered when she played a perfect rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on a toy keyboard she had.
Channel 4 Fans, including Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle actress Lisa Riley, took to social media to share their reactions. Lisa Tweeted: “WOW WOW WOW if you are currently watching @Channel4 @C4Gogglebox I am crying my eyes watching the clip from “The Piano” with Lucy playing Chopin…….it was just so incredibly emotional #ThePiano #channel4 #gogglebox #wow @ClaudiaWinkle.”
