Gogglebox fans may be missing Giles Wood and Mary Killen's iconic matching wallpaper and sofa in future episodes, as the pair have discussed moving away from the Westcountry. The eccentric couple have become fan favourites on the Channel 4 show since they first appeared on it back in 2015, beamed into our living room from their Wiltshire "Grottage".
But things could change as in their latest book, 'Country Life: A Story of Peaks and Troughs', Giles and Mary may give their thoughts on the week's television against a different backdrop after suggesting they may relocate to London. The armchair critics moved from Chelsea to Wiltshire 30 years ago as they could get more bang for their buck in the Westcountry at the time.
"Were I a shrub, I would say I have only tentatively put down roots here in Wiltshire," Giles writes in the book, which was released last month. "They are not yet thick or stubborn enough to prevent me from uprooting myself for the final chapter of my life."

The artist adds: "After 30 years, I am now ready to transplant myself again."
"As a woman who can’t drive, I have been exiled these past three decades to a village without a bus service," Mary says. "It means that, over the years, I’ve missed at least 600 London parties, gallery openings and book launches, to say nothing of memorial services and lectures and art exhibitions.
"I’m certain that a London dwelling would be the best choice for the final decade of life. It’s too much of a nuisance to visit someone who lives in the country, no matter how much you love them."
Giles and Mary first met when they were in their early 20s in the capital while Giles was studying at Wimbledon Art School and Mary was a model. They joined the Gogglebox family eight years ago after a friend in the production team asked if they fancied taking part.
But Giles and Mary were not initially due to appear on Gogglebox together, as one of their two adult daughters had been set to commentate on the week's telly with her dad. After she backed out, Mary was convinced to take part instead after a long conversation with the show's bosses.
