Former Gogglebox star Joe Baggs and Love Island favourite Chloe Burrows shared a boozy kiss on Joe and his brother George's Not My Baggs podcast.
The drunken snog immediately sparked romance rumours, which Joe has now shot down, claiming "we did have a laugh about that afterwards" as he confirmed the pair are not romantically involved.
Joe - who turned 26 on Tuesday - said: "That was so funny. We did have a laugh about that afterwards.
"I woke up the next morning, got the edit through and was like 'oh' [laughs]. I wonder how this is going to be perceived,' and I think that [Instagram] story went out prior to the episode as well," reports the Sun.
He continued: "It was a story I put up just joking around and sometimes I forget. I still treat Instagram like I would've when I was at school. So I still post stories and sometimes I'm like 'Oh wait', and I kind of forget. But we had a good laugh about it and it's funny how it did spiral."
The TikTok star took the speculation on the chin and was even amused to see his brother George roped into the rumours, along with Chloe's best pal and fellow islander Millie Court.
He continued: "Now it's the rumours my brother George and Millie are a thing so there's this weird double date situation going on. They're really good mates of ours. I love them two."
The podcast began as a passion project for the brothers, but soon accumulated huge success and boasts 58,000 subscribers on Youtube.
The pair have had a host of well-known stars on the panel, including Spice Girl Mel C and most recently N-Dubz.
Joe said: "I never thought we'd be able to book the guests we did. Having Mel C on episode three was just crazy to be honest. The people we've interviewed is pretty mindblowing."
The boys also secured Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm on the podcast after she and Joe hit it off at Capital's Summertime Ball.
And despite being a genuine media star, having teamed up with the likes of Rita Pra, Will.i.Am and now TikTok ahead of Eurovision, the 26-year-old admits he still gets imposter syndrome.
Despite this, the social media sensation is aiming big and is hopeful to have Cheryl on the podcast in the future.
He said: "I love pop music and pop culture. Someone I've always wanted to meet and interview is Cheryl. She's a dream guest of mine. Who knows, maybe one day. She's definitely that sort of vibe. I was a massive Girls Aloud fan."
This week the Bagg boys are on the road to the Eurovision Song Contest final.
They're making live podcast episodes in the run-up to Saturday night's spectacle in Liverpool.
Joe explained: "From Tuesday to Thursday we're interviewing fellow creators. We're interviewing Mae Muller and Sam Ryder and just bringing our podcast on the road kind of vibe, which will be really fun.
"I love Eurovision anyway and over the last couple of years from entering this industry and meeting Sam and meeting Mae I'm into it a lot more now than recent years."
And Joe has his fingers crossed that Mae and her break-up banger I Wrote A Song will top the leaderboard come Saturday night.
He said: "I really want her to win and I do think the song's great. It's difficult because there's such strong competition always. We'll have to wait and see but I'd love her to get the top spot."
