Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford has opened up about her recently confirmed boyfriend on the latest episode of the hit Channel 4 show.
Sitting alongside brother Pete, he asked her at the start of the show how her relationship with Irishman Ben McKeown is going.
She said: “Really good, yeah. I've snared myself a hunk,” before Pete replied: “I still don't think he's six foot. I don't give a s*** what anybody says. Until my tape measure says he's six foot.”
Sophie then shared details of her brother and boyfriend’s first meeting, when Pete told Ben he thought he would be taller.
Sophie said: “You're looking up to him and then saying, ‘I thought you were at least six foot’, when he is.”
Pete replied defensively: “He doesn't look six foot, and then added: “Lies. Already built on lies. Oh dear.”
Sophie then joked: “Just because he makes you look like one of The Borrowers.”
The television personality has often joked about her dating life on the show but recently uploaded a picture looking cosy with her rumoured beau as she posed for a photo with brother Pete and his wife Paige.
In the snap, the Channel 4 star rocked a 70's-inspired dress and white heels for the event while her boyfriend looked dapper in a white shirt, a pink tie, a navy vest and a patterned grey blazer.
One fan was confused about who Sophie was posing with and questioned: "Is Sophie loved up?"
While another curious follower asked her: "Are you engaged?"
Sophie previously spoke about her love life in 2020, when she shared a picture of herself with a friend.
When asked about 'romantic offers', she told Metro: "So no, definitely single. Nothing really going on."
In September last year, Sophie's brother Pete married Paige Yeomans in a secret ceremony and confirmed the news at the National Television Awards.
He confirmed the happy news shortly after it was revealed that he'd become a dad for the first time after Paige gave birth to their baby boy.
Pete told OK!: "I'm married now! It was nerve-wracking but the best day of my life. Well, second-best day as I’m a dad now, too.
"I'm buzzing [to be at the NTAs] as I got a full night's sleep in a hotel so I'm well happy."
He added: "[Being a dad is] tiring. The lack of sleep is not cool but it's definitely worth it."
Pete continued: "He's basically a miniature version of me and Paige and that's what I always wanted so I feel well lucky."
