Gogglebox fans screamed “no”, threatened to stop watching the programme and joked that their night had been “ruined” after star Sophie Sandiford shared a snap to Instagram of herself and her brother Pete. The pair are fan favourites on the Channel 4 show but caused controversy with a small detail in the picture.
On Friday (Mar 3), Sophie posted a picture of her and Pete sat in their living room, where fans are used to seeing them provide their humorous takes on the week's TV. She captioned the post: “See you all at 9pm. Who's watching tonight.”
Pete was shown sat in a yellow armchair, pretending to flex his muscles. Meanwhile Sophie, sat on the sofa, pointed at the camera.
