Ellie Warner has returned to social media for the first time since boyfriend Nat Eddleston was left seriously injured after being hit by a car, to make a selfless request in the run up to her birthday.
Nat, who like Ellie is in his 30s, was reportedly knocked down by a white car shortly after midnight after meeting friends for drinks at a pub in the Halton area of the city. As West Yorkshire police made an appeal for information, The Mirror reported that Nat was in a 'critical but stable' condition in hospital, with his loved ones fearing he could be left with life changing injuries.
Since the accident, Ellie is said to have barely been away from Nat's bedside in hospital, with her and sister Izzi missing in action from Gogglebox ever since it happened, as show bosses extended their full support to the Yorkshire siblings.
After being away from socials since the horrifying incident, with police now confirming they have questioned the driver involved, Ellie made a return to her Facebook page earlier this week, in the lead up to her birthday with a request for friends and family to make a donation to charity.

Ellie wrote: " "For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Headway - the brain injury association. I've chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you'll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me.
"Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I've included information about Headway - the brain injury association below. "Headway's mission is to promote the understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide vital information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers."
At the time of writing, donations to Ellie's appeal had already passed the £1,300 mark, with her return to Facebook coming as it's being reported that her and Izzi are expecting to be absent from the rest of Gogglebox's current series.
