Gogglebox star Giles Wood has a secret job which earns him lots of money.
The armchair critic regularly issues his verdict on the week's best TV alongside his wife, Mary Killen. Viewers have been delighted as the couple invited people into their stunning Wiltshire cottage once again for the latest series of the popular Channel 4 programme.
Giles and Mary affectionately refer to one another as "nutty" and are set to return tonight to offer more hilarious commentary on a variety of shows. Away from the sofa, Mary writes a column for The Spectator and has also had a book published on etiquette titled, How the Queen Can Make You Happy.

She also let slip on a previous episode how Giles had retired at an early age. They were watching a documentary on coronavirus when Giles said: "Just as I'm starting to enjoy my retirement."
Mary shot back: "What retirement? You haven't worked first. You retired at 21, so now you can start working – do it in reverse."
However, Giles' personal website reveals he has another job as an artist and he explains what draws him to painting.
He said: "I like the contemplative aspect — sitting for several days in a room, watching the light change. There are as many changes as with a landscape. I always work in oils as they give more depth. The finished painting should offer an insight into the painter as well as the subject.”
Gogglebox returns tonight at 9pm on Channel 4
