For almost ten hilarious years, regular people and armchair critics up and down the country have left millions in stitches as they commentate on the week's television. Since Gogglebox first aired in 2013, the nation has been let into the living rooms of scores of families, couples, and friends, many of whom have become niche celebrities in their own right.
Following the success of the hit Channel 4 show, there have been a couple of spin-offs, including Celebrity Gogglebox and Gogglesprogs, which saw children turn into armchair critics and take control of the remote. And now, a new version of the Friday night programme is due to hit our screens.
Those who live across the Severn Bridge will be able to get their own special dose of Gogglebox as Welsh broadcaster S4C is currently working on a Welsh language version of the show. According to WalesOnline, the new programme is called Gogglebocs Cymru, and is set to be hosted by Welsh comedian Tudur Owen.

An all-Welsh cast will be offering their two pence from their living rooms in the upcoming series, with the majority of programmes watched by the new cast of armchair critics having been produced in the country. Some of the productions the sofa-sitters will be nattering about will be from further afield.
It has now been announced by S4C that the first episode of Gogglebocs Cymru will be airing on Wednesday, November 2. According to Tudur, his voice will only play a very small part in the new series, much like Craig Cash's voice in the original series.
He told WalesOnline: "From watching the Channel 4 programme, Craig's (Cash) voice is used to host and transition from one piece to another. And that's my job, to keep things moving. The success of the series ultimately depends on the casting - getting the right characters on board."
As for the armchair critics viewers will get to know and love, Tudur has said that he doesn't know the identities of the people involved in the new series, although he is excited to meet them. He said: "As we are going into their homes, it's important the characters are fun and we want to be there with them. They let us into their homes so we can experience the highs and the lows with them - it's such a personal and intense relationship."
Despite the exact details and locations of the Welsh cast members not being released yet, it has been reported that couch potatoes in the Brynamman, Cardiff, Carmarthen, Caernarfon, Crymych, Denbigh, Llanelli, Maerdy, Manchester, Bridgend, Pwllheli, Talsarnau, Tregarth and Wrexham areas will feature in the series.
