Stars of Channel 4 hit show Gogglebox Mica Ven and Marcus Lucas have announced that they have quit the popular reality programme after five years to pursue other things - and fans are in bits.
In a statement to their social media, the fan favourites wrote a heartfelt message to reveal the news and explained why their stint on the show has now come to an end.
The gym owner, boxing coach and businessman, 38, and hairstylist, 44, wrote: "We just want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to @c4Gogglebox for having us for the last 5 years, even though we had to travel so far for filming (downstairs & through the corridor) it was so worth it, it’s been an epic journey! You guys are the bestest of the best.

"We’ve had so much fun with you all tuning in at home & the hardworking Gogglebox crews but it’s time to put down the remote and see what else God has in store for us. To everyone that has tuned in & sent us messages of love and encouragement over the years, we appreciate every last one of you. Thank you so much. To the amazing cast, you’ll forever be our G’box brothers & sisters 4life.
"And lastly, To all our Yardie friends & family that always big us up to whoever will listen, when you’re chatting about our departure, the program’s called GOGGLEBOX not GOOOOOGLEbox, it’s not a damn search engine. We love youuuuuuu. Marky & Big Meesh"
The pair, who share a son called Yash, were quickly showered with love and many voiced their sadness that the hilarious duo will no longer be gracing their screens on a Friday night.
Fellow Gogglebox stars Izzi Warner wrote: "We’ll miss you both!!", alongside Daniel Lustig-webb who said: "We will miss you good luck on the future xxx"
Twaine Plummer and his brother Tristan, who also appear on the show alongside their brother Tremaine, added: "No we are gonna miss u and all the best in the future family" and "wish all the best in the future".
Fans of the show also commented, with user @hackneyheidi writing: "Nooooooooooooo. Say it ain’t so. Don’t leave us" as well as @1empressnadia writing: "This is really sad news!! We will miss you bad. Wishing you all the very best for your future projects."
Gogglebox will next air on Christmas Day at 9.05pm on Channel 4.
