Gogglebox fans have said they have been left 'heartbroken' as they were given news of the show's return. Viewers of the hit Channel 4 show were left upset earlier this month when the most recent series came to an end.
But their upset soon turned to anger when last week, the planned TV schedule showed Gogglebox in its usual 9pm time slot with many thinking they were getting a bonus episode of the much-loved show which sees a bunch of armchair critics dishing their views on the latest TV shows, classic films and breaking news.
However, it ended up being a repeat and disgruntled fans soon flocked to social media to share their views. This week though, they will be able to get their Gogglebox fix but this time with the celebrity spin-off.

Celebrity Gogglebox returns to screens on Friday (June 16) at the one-off later time of 10pm. Taking to Instagram, the show's official account confirmed the familiar faces making a comeback. They include Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Bez, Shaun Ryder, Paul Sinha, Olly Levy, Clare Balding, Alice Arnold, Martin and Roman Kemp, Tubsey, Big Zuu, Hyder, Rob Beckett and Tom Allen.
They are also set to be joined by some new - but still famous - faces as Davina McCall is set to make her Celebrity Gogglebox debut with partner and hair stylist Michael Douglas while singer Tom Grennan has also signed up alongside his dad, Martin.
However, when the returning members of the Celebrity Gogglebox line-up was revealed, fans couldn't help but express their upset at those who haven't made the cut this time around.
