Gogglebox fans were greeted with some fantastic news on tonight's episode (December 9) when one of the show's regulars announced there would soon be a new member of the family. Ellie Warner revealed that she is pregnant.
Ellie announced the news while on screen with her sister Izzi. The hairdresser-turned-Gogglebox star recently revealed plans that she was getting married to her boyfriend Nat.
She announced the news to the world during a conversation with Izzi. Ellie said: "So I went for a scan on Saturday. That's the picture."
When Izzi asked whether the picture was from the back, Ellie had a surprising reaction. "I don't know I thought it looked like a jelly alien."
Fans of the sisters took to Twitter to congratulate Ellie on the news. Kelly (@Kelly84155127) was initially surprised by the news but was quick to wish the couple well.
She said: "Hang on a minute is @ellieandizzi Ellie pregnant? #Gogglebox Well congrats to you and Nat xx."
Kelly Crumpton (@kellycrumpton94) also celebrated the news on Twitter. She asked: "Ellie's having a baby?!" followed by two crying with joy emojis.
Jodie (@J0die_T) added: "How refreshing. The most natural of announcements." It was followed by a party and a baby bottle emoji.
