A Gogglebox family say they are baffled after being axed from the show and say they want to return. Chantelle Walker joined the popular Channel 4 series with her family in 2020, but fans were left shocked after they disappeared following a couple of episodes.
She has now broken her silence about what happened with the series, and says she'd love to go back on. In a new interview with the Sun, Chantelle claims they were informed the team was "pausing filming" for a while.
She said: "They told us they 'didn’t have enough cameras to film us', so we thought they were going to come back and restart filming in the next season,” she explained. “But that didn't happen. There was silence for a while and we didn’t know what was going on for months. Then they dropped us, which was a shock."

“There was no discussion, we couldn’t understand why - but what can you do when they tell you they don’t want to film anymore? They said they would be in contact if there was any time for us on future shows and other opportunities but we’ve not heard from them.
“People were shocked when we were dropped, even now they ask us when we are going back on." She added: “It was a good experience but I wish it could have been for longer. If I was asked to go on Gogglebox again I would do it.”
The family are from London and fans loved that there were new faces on the show. The series has starred a number of Bristol people, including Mary and Marina - also known as the queens of Gogglebox - who lived next door to each other in sheltered flats in Bedminster. Sadly, Mary passed away in 2021.
Bristol brothers Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan still star on the programme.
