Goddess Padmavathi blesses devotees on Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam at Tiruchanoor

TIRUPATI: Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru blessed the devotees on the Muthyapu Pandiri vahanam on the sidelines of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor on Tuesday.

Goddess Padmavathi was adorned with antique jewelry special floral garlands and was taken out in a colorful procession in the pearl canopy in the guise of the "Bakasura Samharam".

Devotees went into a spiritual rupture on sighting the Goddess of wealth on the Muthyapu Pandiri vahanam and the entire four Mada streets reverberated with the Sri Padmavathi and Govindanama chants during the entire course of the procession.

Meanwhile, a Chennai based devotees group presented five set of processional umbrellas to the Tiruchanoor temple on Tuesday.

Later in the evening, the divine consort of Lord Venkateswara was taken out in a colourful procession on the Simha vahanam.

TTD Jeeyar Swamys, Chandragiri legislator Dr Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, JEO V Veerabrahmam and others took part.
