With the year coming to an end, it's time to look back and reflect upon the past 12 months. During this time, every year the Oxford English Dictionary shares its Word of the Year which aptly sums up the mood and ethos of that particular year. But for the first time in Oxford English Dictionary's history, this year the Word of the Year 2022 was chosen by public voting. And, people have chosen 'Goblin Mode' as the Oxford Word of the Year 2022!
Over 300,000 people casted their vote to choose the Oxford Word of the Year 2022 in the last two weeks.
