St Johnstone have signed goalkeeper Dave Richards on a season-long loan from Crewe Alexandra.
The shot stopper, 29, joins from Crewe Alexandra to bolster Steven MacLean's goalkeeping options following an injury to youngster Ross Sinclair.
The Welsh born goalkeeper will help compete with Dimitar Mitov for the number one jersey and will be involved in the Saints squad heading to Ross County this weekend.
On his move, Richards told Saints TV: "I'm over the moon to be up here.
"We had a phone call the other day after Ross had a nasty injury that required an operation.
"I jumped at the chance to come up here. This will be my first experience of Scotland, it is the first time I've stepped foot in the country.
"I have heard great things about Scotland and St Johnstone. It was a no-brainer for me as soon as I got the phone call to come up.
"I am delighted to be here. I played against Dimi before when he was at Cambridge. He's a top, top goalkeeper.
"I'm here to work hard and to push him for the number one spot.
"We've had a good training session this morning, the boys are looking in great shape and we are ready for tomorrow against Ross County.
"I have already seen a great standard in training. This is a fresh start for me and a new challenge.
"I've been at a Crewe for a long, long, long time so I am looking forward to meeting new teammates, playing in a new country and playing and in the Scottish Premiership."
