Love Island's Lara Jenkins decided to go with her gut in Sunday (Feb 5) night's re-coupling, which has been praised by viewers. The islanders received the legendary text message asking them to gather around the fire pit towards the end of the ITV programme as they prepared to make the decision of who they wanted to couple up with.
Fans of the show were unhappy last week with how Ron Hall had treated Lana, according to the Daily Record, which prompted a backlash after she was left in tears. Casey O'Gorman and Jordan Odofin, two new boys, had entered the villa however, with Lana and Casey finding an instant connection.
Lana chose to couple up with Casey which was supported by fans. Reacting on Twitter, someone wrote: "Well done Lana... give Ron a taste of his own medicine #loveisland" Another tweeted: "YESSSSS Lana. Go girl #loveisland"

Commenting on her decision, Lana said: "Been fighting between my head and my heart but tonight I'm going with my gut". Her decision means Ron will stay coupled-up with Tanyel Revan, 26.
