GMR Group CSR arm to host symposium on ‘inspiring next gen talent’

NEW DELHI: The Parampara Family Business Institute (PFBI), a GMR Varalakshmi Foundation non-profit research and educational organisation (CSR arm of the group), will on Tuesday host an online session titled: “inspiring next gen talent.” This is the ninth session of its online symposium series, "essential mantras for family business.”

The session will be chaired by international experts in critical areas pertinent to the family business, the group said in a statement.

“This symposium is focused on defining important aspects of professional relationships that will help the next generation of the family to build an enduring family business. Primarily, the symposium is focused on inspiring the next generation to contribute towards building an enduring family business. It also covers important aspects of communication and governance that are imperative to strengthen the business and the family with harmonious relations,” the statement said.

The focus will be on “engagement of next generation in robust family governance. Integration of emotional attachment which deals with emotions, and feelings while creating a sense of belongingness that is crucial to creating an attachment to the family vision,” it added.
