Good Morning Britain viewers have been left 'heartbroken' after an inspirational Leeds teacher tackling bed poverty appeared on the show.
Many viewers heard the heartbreaking story of what spurred teacher Bex Wilson on to take action for the first time on Monday (August 22). Bex, who founded her charity Zarach in 2017, began her inspirational work when one of her pupils, a little boy in Year 6, revealed that he did not have a bed to sleep on at home and was "always tired".
The boy had been sleeping on an old sofa cushion and had bedbug sores on his tummy as the cushion was infested. The boy's family were one of the first that the charity supported and they were able to furnish the family home with a comfy bed and even a TV.

Describing how she set up the charity, she told the BBC last year: "I was just teaching in lesson as normal, as many teachers do, year six just before sats, drilling down on some of the basics, and a little boy didn't have a good morning.
"He was unusually irritated and had been short with one of his friends, I just kept him behind at the end and said 'what's going on? I feel like you're tired this morning' and he said 'I'm always tired Miss, I don't have a bed'."
