Good Morning Britain fans were horrified as Richard Arnold threw up live on air in an I'm A Celebrity themed trial.
Richard has been away from the ITV breakfast show for a few weeks as he enjoyed a holiday, but as he made his return today, hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were joined by Andi Peters for a special showbiz segment. Richard took part in a Retch for the Stars trial, where he had to find stars buried under critters and asked questions with a snake around his neck.
Horrified viewers couldn't believe it as Richard was presented with the snake, and was quizzed on the current campmates. It was an offal drink, though, that left fans of the show - and Richard himself - retching.
Susanna squealed as Richard downed the drink before he quickly jumped off his chair and turned away from the camera. As he retched over the no doubt disgusting tasting liquid, he tried to hold things in before he grabbed a nearby hat and threw up in it.
There was chaos for a moment as there was nothing for him to throw up into but someone shouted about the hat and he grabbed it before throwing up the horrible looking liquid, leaving viewers horrified too.
"Have I seriously just watched @RichardAArnold vomit on live TV? #GMB classic morning viewing!," one fan of the show penned online, whilst another added: "Poor Richard, felt sorry for him. #gmb."
A third shared: "I don’t often stop to watch TV in the mornings. Omg, what are they doing to poor @RichardAArnold? That was just cruel. Well done to him though #retchforthestars #GMB," with a fourth adding: "Absolutely disgusting this time of the morning. Especially when kids are watching and people are eating breakfast #GMB."
"Omg I'm crying, that's the funniest thing I've seen on TV for a long time @RichardAArnold #ImACelebrity #gmb @GMB," a fifth wrote.
He commented, while talking to the camera at viewers: "Admirable... what he's saying is this is how we dodge your questions. And it's not just our questions, because we ask the questions on behalf of you. So they are actually dodging your questions. What their prime and tested strategy is, is they give you an answer to a question you haven't asked."
Susanna went on: "He even admitted that! So we have gone back through our Matt Hancock interviews and found out where he may have performed the pivot," as Richard added: "Pivot, pivot, pivot, pivot."
