Richard Arnold has praised Liverpool despite 'waking up in a skip' in the city.
The entertainment editor appeared on Good Morning Britain today to discuss Liverpool and Glasgow being in the top two cities for where the Eurovision Song Contest will be held next year. He explained that he loved both cities as they were "fantastic for a caper".
Host Ed Balls asked Richard who he was voting for. He replied: "To be honest, I've woken up in a skip outside Nando's in both of those cities."

He added: "They are fantastic cities for a bit of a caper. Eurovision, for me, is very much about a two-day jolly."
The presenter laughed before more turning more serious as he added: "No but they both have fantastic musical heritage as well." Ed pushed him further for an answer as he said: "Well that was not an answer to the question."
Richard scratched his head as he said: "I'm sitting on the fence... sitting on the fence. They're both great destinations. They're both worthy cities for the accolade next year."
Oleh Psuik, leader of the Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine who won the last competition, thanked the UK for their support. They said: "We are grateful to the UK for their solidarity and for agreeing to hold the event in support of our country.
"We hope Eurovision will have a Ukrainian flavour and celebrate our beautiful, unique culture. We believe that either city on the shortlist is worthy of staging Eurovision 2023."
A final decision for where the event will be held will be made "within weeks". The UK was chosen to host the 2023 contest after organisers decided it could not be staged by this year's winner, Ukraine, because of the ongoing war. The UK's singer Sam Ryder was the runner-up this May.
