Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh took a moment to pay tribute to colleague Paul Dorrian on the ITV show on Monday morning, following the sad news of his death at the age of 57.
The GMB programme organiser's death was confirmed on the show, as Ranvir revealed he passed away over the weekend.
Ranvir said the team had lost a "beloved" and "trusted" colleague, as she praised the work the team do behind-the-scenes to get the series on air.
Calling him a "kind and loving man", she reached out to his loved ones to send her and the entire team's best wishes following their loss.
She told viewers: "As you know, the show just isn’t what it is without the talented team who work behind-the-scenes here, who get everything on air for us every morning.
"It is with real sadness in our hearts we have to say we’ve lost one of our beloved colleagues this weekend.
"Paul Dorrian, he literally worked day and night to make sure all our technical facilities worked and the show got on the air. A very trusted and loved member of our GMB family.
"He was here for nearly three decades since the early days of GMTV. He knew everybody here."
Ranvir went on, as she detailed the kind of colleague Paul was: "He was a kind and loving man, he lifted the spirits of everyone who works here.
"He was a really close friend to everyone on the team, so there is a real sadness behind-the-scenes today."
Sending her regards to his partner Mike and his two brothers, she added: "All our love and thoughts go to his partner Mike and his two brothers, and to the entire family.
"So young and taken too soon, Paul Dorrian our very loved colleague there.
"So we just wanted to pay tribute to him this morning, and our thoughts are with your family Paul this morning."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
