Laura Tobin looked panic stricken as she was the victim of a cruel but very well executed April Fool prank on Good Morning Britain.
With the calendar reading April 1, ITV viewers tuned into Friday's episode of the breakfast programme suspecting that there might be some high jinks during the show and it was weather presenter Laura who was at the centre of the fake drama.
The prank saw Laura broadcast live to hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway from a huge greenhouse at RHS Garden Wisley, where she was joined by a guest called Matt who held a plant pot, containing what he purported to be a incredibly unique flower, which had been the result of an extensive "breeding programme."

Upping the ante on the prank, Matt then told Laura the plant was being named after her before handing her the pot. And it was at that exact moment that disaster struck as the pot fell to the floor before Laura could get a hold of it, with her shrieking as Matt shouted in horror.
Matt then pretended to throw a strop and stormed out of shot as Laura put her hand over her mouth in apparent despair. She questioned: "Matt, we can save this right? Is there really only one of these?"
In on the prank, hosts Ben and Kate pretended to look shell shocked in the studio, with Ben remarking: "A five year breeding programme Laura and you've just broken it."
As Laura said she was going to see if Matt 'was OK,' Kate shouted: "Take the plant with you!" She then hastily cut to Andi Peters as Laura walked away from the camera.
