Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been spotted together — but not on the air.
The “GMA3″ anchors-turned-lovers were seen getting cozy at the airport in Atlanta on Monday, nearly a month to the day after their romance surfaced, according to E! News.
But the romantic reporters have yet to return to the ABC show, which took them off the air early this month.
A few days later, it was reported that the rumored romance between Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, was under investigation at the network to ensure their relationship neither breached their contracts nor utilized company resources.
In the days before Christmas, sources told TMZ the pair would not return to the daytime show until the internal review is concluded, likely not until at least 2023.
Despite insiders’ adamant claims their romance was totally kosher, Robach and Holmes’ social media activity, as well as that of the former’s husband, “Melrose Place” star Andrew Shue, raised eyebrows.
Robach and Holmes locked their social media accounts shortly after photos surfaced of them getting cozy. It didn’t take long for Shue, 55, to apparently scrub all photos of Robach from his Instagram account.
Both couples reportedly split weeks apart in August. However, people close to the “GMA3″ hosts told People the relationship didn’t start until after Robach split from Shue and Holmes from lawyer Marilee Fiebig.
“Their spouses had moved out, even!” said the insider, who noted the two were “very comfortable dating in the open” after calling it quits with their significant others.
Even so, another source told the outlet the two were rumored to be “having an affair about a year ago.
“But everyone ultimately chalked it up to friendship because they always said they were both happily married,” they continued.
Reports soon followed that Robach and Shue, 55, were “about ready to settle their divorce,” having even gone “to [divorce] mediation” ahead of the incriminating photos.
