KOLKATA: Thailand continues to be a happy hunting ground for Grandmaster Surya Sekhar Ganguly who won the Bangkok Open chess meet for the second time in his third appearance this week.
"There's some strange similarities in the way my games unfolded at the Bangkok Open," Ganguly told TOI from Bangkok before flying off to the US for his next tournament at St Louis. "Thrice I found myself with white in a must-win situation in the last round for claiming the title. Interestingly I won all the three times but managed to become champions twice," he pointed out.
