Accountancy firm Azets’ Gloucestershire branch has said it is on track to boost turnover by around a third following the merger of its two offices in the county.
A year ago the company brought together staff at its Cheltenham and Gloucester offices at its new base Epsilon House in Gloucester Business Park, Brockworth.
The firm, which provides audit, tax, payroll, advisory and outsourcing services, said its regional team was now forecasting 30% growth in annual turnover growth this year to around £6m.
Azets Gloucester said it has grown its workforce to around 80 staff after recruiting almost 20 new starters over the last 12 months, as well as making 18 promotions.
Office managing partner Claire Clift, added that the business was continuing to grow its team in line with demand, with five trainee placements filled for later in the year. Azets Gloucester is currently developing a partnership with Cirencester College, to support students working towards accountancy T-Levels.
Ms Clift said: “It’s been great to see how quickly everyone has settled into the office, and how the drive for growth has continued, despite the continually challenging backdrop of the economic landscape.
“Our transition to a hybrid working model has encouraged agile working and we’ve created a digital, paperless setup to make it easier for clients, whilst also monitoring our environmental footprint.
She added: “The 30% growth from the office is testament to the team’s hard work and drive, and I want to thank all of those involved in making our first combined year, such a success.”
