Global news provider Insider sets up Northern Ireland base with 50 tech jobs

A global digital news company is to create 50 new jobs as it sets up a new technology base in Northern Ireland.

New-York-based Insider Inc said the province’s strong tech talent pool had attracted it to the region where the new Technology and Product Hub will work closely with the company’s global business. The new team – made up of data engineering, project management and IT support specialists - will design, develop and support key technology applications used by millions of people across the world watch its finance, business and lifestyle news.

Globally, Insider employs around 1,000 people and produces 10 news editions in six languages.
