Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), the world's largest contract chipmaker, is expected to report another record quarterly profit on Thursday, extending its earnings growth streak as robust global demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure continues to fuel advanced semiconductor orders.
According to a Reuters report, analysts expect TSMC's net profit for the April-June quarter to jump nearly 59% year-on-year to T$632.6 billion ($19.65 billion), based on an LSEG SmartEstimate compiled from 18 analysts.
