European shares inched up at open on Tuesday, following a rally in the previous session, as investors assessed the preliminary agreement between the U.S. and Iran, weighing prospects for the resumption of oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index edged 0.3% higher to 636.01 points by 0717 GMT, with the industrial goods & services index's 1.2% rise leading gains.
