Glen Powell found himself at the center of an online debate this week after a movie producer praised his rising stardom while seemingly throwing shade at Ryan Gosling. The producer highlighted Glen's success in recent hit movies like 'Anyone But You' and 'Twisters,' claiming that audiences now flock to see him on the big screen. However, the comparison made by the anonymous producer suggested that Glen's appeal extends to both men and women, unlike Ryan Gosling, whose supposed appeal was labeled as mostly limited to female audiences.
This comparison sparked confusion and disagreement among fans, with many defending Ryan Gosling's diverse filmography that has resonated with male audiences. Fans pointed out Gosling's acclaimed performances in movies like 'Drive,' 'The Nice Guys,' 'Blade Runner 2049,' and more, emphasizing his significance in male-centric cinema.
