Glee fans 'howling' as the show's most unhinged moments are identified to celebrate 13 years

Today marks 13 years since Glee's pilot episode first aired on the American TV network, Fox. It was May 19, 2009, when we were first treated to the all singing, all dancing high-school based show which centred around a high-school show choir, also known as a glee club. It's fair to say that since then, life has never been the same.

Glee has brought us many classic moments of...well pure glee. But also some very weird moments too. And to celebrate 13 years since this show came into our lives, one super fan on Twitter has painstakingly trawled all six seasons to produce the most "unhinged" moments.

@motivatefenty describes herself as a fan that tweets mostly about music, film and politics and the long thread of 30 unhinged Glee moments has already amassed more than 30,000 likes leaving Glee fans 'dying' of laughter.

Here are some of the highlights from the thread.

First up, with currently almost 3000 likes there's the overtly sexual performance of Push It by Salt and Peppa. Once seen, never quite forgotten.

Next the scene described as: "Artie and Quinn performing I'm still standing after she got hit by a truck and paralysed from the waist down."

Or what about when Finn sang I'll Stand By You to an ultrasound image on a computer screen? Slightly unhinged but pretty cute.

There's also clips on the threat of two of our all time favourites was when Sue performed Superbass by Nikki Minaj complete with a blond wig and pink outfit. And especially What Does The Fox Say?

Other's include: Rachel when she had a crush on Mr Schue and sang Endless Love. Mr Scchue performing Toxic with the students. And Mr Schue again performing Blurred Lines with his students in protest of Sue banning twerking.

Fans reacted to the thread with appreciation and suggestions. @raffyregulus said: "This entire Playlist is EPIC, but we're missing one of the chaotic moments in Glee history. When Blaine was singing Teenage Dream at the karaoke in NYC and broke down. WHEW."

And @thispurplefig86 said: "I started this thread thinking it would be a few funny videos, but I'm howling so hard my sides hurt and I'm only halfway through AND I'VE GOT THINGS TO DO but I can't stop watching. Also, I never saw any of these Jane Lynch performances and I'm dying."

Truly a stellar Twitter thread here, beautifully collated by @motivatefenty. Happy birthday to Glee.
