A spokesperson for the Manchester United Supporters' Trust [MUST] has urged the Glazers to quickly wrap up the takeover process ahead of an important summer for Erik ten Hag.
The manager admitted earlier this month that he is still in the dark over what transfer funds he will have available with a world-class striker and midfielder wanted. Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani submitted a renewed final bid on Tuesday evening as the takeover race reaches its final chapter.
Both he and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are frontrunners for a purchase with the former hoping to take control of 100 per cent while Sir Jim is after the Glazers’ 69 per cent majority. United fans are pensive about the outcome, especially with the summer transfer window just six weeks away.

MUST has now implored the owners to make a decision to provide Ten Hag with clarity ahead of an important recruitment period for the club. As per The Mirror, a spokesperson for the group said: "The sale process has now been going on for six months.
"With the transfer window about to open, the Glazers need to make a decision on the sale and fast. A summer of uncertainty would be disastrous for Erik ten Hag and cannot be allowed to happen."
MUST released a similar statement in April, which read: "With Erik ten Hag having made such great progress in his first season, and with the vital summer transfer window a matter of weeks away, the news of these delays and further prolonged uncertainty are of great concern.
"We are also unable to move forward on major investment projects - not least the stadium redevelopment as we remain in limbo. We are in dire need of new investment, which undoubtedly requires new ownership. MUST, along with United fans all around the world, are calling for this process to be concluded without further delay."
The Glazers announced that the club was up for sale in November with first bids being tabled by mid-February. Interested parties who made it through to a second round of bidding met The Raine Group - who are overseeing the takeover - at Old Trafford in March.
A third round saw renewed offers from both Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim, the latter of whom has also outlined a proposal that would see the Glazers remain as minority shareholders.
