These are your Manchester United morning headlines for Friday, December 9.

Glazers decide against taking United dividend for first time in six years

The Glazer family have not taken their semi-annual dividend from Manchester United, the club's latest financial results have disclosed.

In the previous financial results that were posted in September for the year up to June 30 2022, United paid £33.6million out in dividends, mostly to the Glazer family, which was up by more than £20m on the previous year.

It was the first time Ronaldo hadn't started an international knockout match since 2008 but Santos' decision was vindicated as his replacement, young striker Goncalo Ramos, scored the opener and went on to net an excellent hat trick. The No.7 came on for the final minutes and scored before the offside flag ruled it out.
