The beloved Kelvin walkway penguins, who have been putting a smile on the face of passers-by for the last month, have been 'stolen' from their home in the wall.
Glaswegians were outraged when the news was broken yesterday by the twitter page behind the cute flipper family.
The cheerful birds were the highlight of the day for many, with the figures being spotted scaling rocks, picking up litter and partaking in snowball fights.

The creator has launched an appeal on the social media platform to ensure the penguins are returned home.
They wrote: "I have some sad news. We woke up this morning to find our little community had disappeared in the night. We do not know where anyone else is, or even if they'll ever come back, but we will not stop searching every inch of our wall until we find them."
The account later added: "We've searched all day, but there's no sign of any of the other penguins who used to live with us in the wall, including my Mum. I fear they're gone forever. I will miss them all very much."
Twitter users are now on the look out for the much loved figures with some famous faces also taking part in the search.
Gavin Mitchell, best known for his role as Boaby in Still Game, said: "Awww this is sad, they cheered everyone up and were for all to enjoy. C’mon , don’t spoil the fun bring back the penguins!"
Others have been left devastated by the news.
One fan of the penguins tweeted: "This is sick! Who ever took, them bring them back this instant."
Another agreed: "Please help to get the Penguins returned to their rightful place. Somebody knows."
Many others were planning on making a visit to spot one of Glasgow's newest families this easter.
A gutted individual tweeted: "Please help find the penguins. I had planned an Easter visit, now it will be a search for those missing."
Another was equally upset: "This is so sad, I was planning on visiting the penguins for the first time on my day off. Really hope they are returned and reunited."
Hopefully the loveable penguins return home very soon.
