Glaswegians can see Frankie Boyle, Peppa Pig and Susie McCabe for a fiver at the Edinburgh Festival

Frankie Boyle Peppa Pig Susie McCabe Edinburgh Glasgow

Greater Glasgow residents can see Frankie Boyle, Susie McCabe and Peppa Pig for a fiver at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Assembly Festival, which makes up part of the Fringe venues, is offering all those with a G postcode £5 tickets over the opening weekend, August 3 to 7 inclusive. Comics, acrobats, circus performers, choirs and more acts are flying into Scotland's capital for the festival.

Closer to home comedy stars Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe are sure to have punters in hysterics at their run of gigs. And on the bill for little aspiring thespians is a big booking for the Fringe - Peppa Pig.
