Glastonbury tickets sell out in less than an hour despite price increase

  • General admission tickets for Glastonbury 2027 sold out in under an hour following the festival's traditional fallow year, with the event set to take place at Worthy Farm from 23 to 27 June.
  • Unsuccessful festival-goers will get another chance to purchase tickets when the official Glastonbury resale takes place in April.
  • A major change to the ticket-buying system prevented users from accessing the queue on multiple devices using a single registration code, a measure designed to tackle automated bots.
  • Weekend tickets were priced at £408 including a booking fee, representing a £29.50 increase from 2025 that prompted mixed reactions from fans online.
  • Co-organiser Emily Eavis confirmed that all headliners for 2027 are booked while ruling out Madonna and Oasis, with rumours continuing to circulate around artists such as Taylor Swift and Sam Fender.
