Revellers at Glastonbury have been warned that the festival could be "seriously jeopardised" if they ignore warnings not to wee where they shouldn't. Despite there being literally thousands of loos at Worthy Farm, some party-goers who can't be bothered to walk there or queue have been known in previous years to use the land instead.
There are lots of strongly-worded posters around the huge site urging people not to do this, as well as a stern warning in the paper guide given to Glasto-goers. It warns: "Glastonbury Festival strives to make as little impact on the environment as possible.
"Please take all your things with you when you leave the festival. And please ALWAYS use the toilets. Peeing on the ground pollutes the festival waterways, threatening wildlife, and could seriously jeopardise our festival licence.

"Festival-goers who don't use the facilities can face eviction from the festival, and the Love the Farm Stewards will be patrolling the site to encourage proper behaviour." Another poster positioned on fencing next to one of the bushes states: "The Whitelake river runs through our beautiful festival site, which is home to many fish and wildlife.

"If people don't use the toilets the pee runs into the river and depletes it of oxygen killing the fish and plants. Please help us by asking people not to pee in hedges if you see them.
"Contamination to the river threatens the festival. A bucket of urine will pollute the entire river."
Another illustrated poster elsewhere shows what appears to be dead fish next to a man weeing in the river. The text says: "You go! Wee go! Don't pee on Glastonbury."
This year there are more than 1,550 compost toilets, 2,520 long drop seats, plus urinals and the return of the female urinals invented by two Bristol entrepreneurs.
