Glastonbury Festival 2023 live webcam - when and where to watch

One of the most iconic music festivals is just days away, with the BBC offering fans a glimpse behind the scenes with its Glastonbury Festival webcam. Looking over Worthy Farm in Somerset, where the legendary carnival of music is held, the panoramic webcam covers all the site's major spots.

The webcam gives those unable to get to the event the chance to see the buzz of the festival. The BBC says: "Watch the world’s most famous festival grow with the BBC Glastonbury Webcam.

"Our little camera on the barn brings you the most recent views of the Pyramid, Woodsies and Green Fields' stages as the land around Worthy Farm transforms into a sprawling city of magical treats." More than 210,000 people are expected at Glastonbury this year.

Acts include the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, Elton John, Lizzo, Lewis Capaldi and Lana Del Rey. There are over 100 stages across 900 acres, with many more performers lined up.

You can watch the Glastonbury webcam on the BBC website, which gives viewers the option to view hotspots - such as the famous Pyramid Stage - and offers images from past years. Back in December 2022, festival organisers fuelled rumours of Elton John's performance when an image of a rocket flying above the site's iconic stage was spotted.

The webcam is available to watch now and will stay live for the entirety of the festival, which is taking place between June 21-26. Though it has been known to go down on occasion, it frequently stays switched on through the summer and even into the winter, when the Pyramid Stage is just a metal shell.

Many going to the festival use the webcam as a way to build anticipation for long weekend and, for anyone heading there this month, there are a few changes. Glastonbury organisers say: "Do not bring disposable vapes. They pollute the environment and can be hazardous at waste centres."

Meanwhile, the sale of plastic bottled beverages is also still banned, as festival has a slogan of "Reuse. Reduce. Respect". Festivalgoers are instead encouraged to bring with them a refillable bottle which can be used at free water stations.
