Glastonbury Festival 2022: 'Banksy artwork' spotted on fence

A reveller has spotted what could be a Banksy painting on a fence at the much-anticipated Glastonbury Festival this morning (June 22). A post shared on Twitter at 6.20 am by @lucanesue reads: "Looks like Banksy has paid a visit to Glastonbury #Glastonbury2022."

There has been no official sighting of the painting shared on the artist's Instagram account to confirm this, but this festival-goer believes the artwork was created by the world-famous man himself.

More than 200,000 music fans will descend on Worthy Farm for the 2022 event amid travel disruptions to train services across the UK. With headline acts such as Sir Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar set to rock the 900-acre Somerset site.
