Glastonbury crew member found dead in his tent nearly 48 hours after festival ended

A member of Glastonbury's Festival's crew has tragically been pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his tent.

Avon and Somerset Police received reports of the man, in his 40s, being found in The Park on the Pilton site at around 2.20pm on Tuesday. Police confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene and that it is not being treated as suspicious.

The festival ended on Monday, however, crew remained on site to clear up and return it to fields that are suitable for cows to graze on. The man's death was the second fatality at the festival this year, after a man in his 40s died in a medical incident in the early hours of Sunday.
